You may be asking – Why does this recipe taste so good? or, Why are they called crack green beans? You can’t go wrong with butter and bacon on your green beans. Plus, the seasonings add a wonderful depth of flavor that is just right!

How To Get Super Crispy Bacon
Option 1 – Air fryer
Most air fryers have a bacon setting, so add your bacon strips in an even layer and allow them to get nice and crisp. Air fryers are great because they minimize mess and are easy to use. Just keep an eye on the bacon as it cooks, take periodic peeks before the time runs out to make sure you cook the bacon just right.
Option 2 – Oven
Preheat the oven to 350, grab an oven-safe baking rack, and place over a casserole pan to catch the bacon grease. Place the bacon strips in an even layer over the baking rack, making sure that the casserole pan is underneath so you don’t get grease in your oven. Place in the oven for 30 min or until super crispy.
Option 3 – Microwave
Using a dinner plate, layer a few sheets of paper towels onto it. Then place bacon strips onto the paper towel in an even layer. Cover with more paper towels. Then place in the microwave and cook for 1-min increments until crispy.
