You will love the refreshing taste of this delicious and easy Homemade Lemonade!

I enjoy making this homemade lemonade recipe for my friends and loved ones. It is so refreshing, especially in the summertime. In winter it is equally as delicious paired with your favorite comfort meal, like Louisiana Gumbo, for example! I hope it will be a hit with your family! Feel free to adjust the amount of sugar used to fit the taste you desire. If someone in your family can’t have sugar, it can be replaced with Splenda – equal conversion (1:1 ratio) if you purchase this bag of Splenda designed for baking.

Kitchen tools:

Rubbermaid Clear Pitcher, Red Cover, 1 Gallon (That Rubbermaid one everyone seems to have, haha!)

OXO Good Grips Large Wooden Spoon

Ingredients:

2 cups organic sugar

1 cup Italian Volcano USDA Organic Lemon Juice 1 Liter Bottle – 2 Pack (or freshly squeezed lemon juice)

Filtered water – I like to use a Brita filter or a Berkey filter for this purpose

The steps to make this Homemade Lemonade are as follows:

  1. Measure out 2 cups of sugar and add to a one gallon pitcher.
  2. Add in one cup of Italian Volcano lemon juice, (or freshly squeezed lemon juice).
  3. Stir to combine, then fill the rest of the pitcher with cold filtered water.

The Italian Volcano lemon juice can be found at Costco! I linked it above in the ingredients list so that you can become familiar with it. It is super delicioso. For the filtered water, I have known quite a few families who use Berkey water filters. I am personally saving up to buy one! Currently I use a small Brita filtered water pitcher and it works great as well. The sugar I used is also from Costco, and it is the Organic Cane sugar, which I also use for baking etc.

I hope you enjoyed this recipe, let me know what you thought of it!
